Específicamente, aborda la asignatura básica anual de primer curso "Mundos Anglófonos en perspectiva histórica y cultural", explorando el marco histórico, social y cultural del Reino Unido e Irlanda, donde la lengua inglesa se originó y expandió. El libro consta de diez temas, una tabla cronológica y treinta documentos relevantes de la historia y cultura de estos dos países. This book is a manual especially designed for UNED students who are starting the Degree in English Studies: Language, Literature and Culture. The text has been specifically designed for the first year basic annual subject "Anglophone Worlds in historical and cultural perspective" and it addresses the study of the historical, social and cultural framework of the United Kingdom and Ireland in which the English language arises and expands. The book consists of ten themes, a chronological table and thirty relevant documents from the history and culture of these two countries.
